Things To Be Kept In Mind Before CPT Exam

All those students out there who are preparing for their Chartered Accountant (CA) Common Proficiency Test (CPT) and are working hard to crack it must be having cold feet as the day of the exam is coming closer. Every big day needs some preparations in advance and so thus the CPT exam. You must have spent a lot of time in studying, arranging for updated CPT study material, learning time management skills and completing assignments. Now, it is time to prepare a checklist for last minute preparations required to be done before the examination. Here is the list-

1. Revise the Study Material

While preparing for the examination candidates must touch all the topics and revise the CPT study material at least 2-3 times. Revising what you have studied strengthens your knowledge and makes you remember everything by heart.

2. Download Admit Card

Admit cards or hall tickets are a must for the examination. Applicants of CPT exam must keep themselves updated with details regarding download of admit cards. Candidates must not forget to download their hall tickets online and carry their photo identity card at the time of examination.

You can not afford to miss a paper or arrive late for the exam. It seems to be a nightmare that when you reach the examination centre the exam has started or there is an altogether different paper today. To avoid any kind of mishappening note down the timetable and remember the timing as well. It will be better if your stick hard copy of the time table in your room. Things will be in your favour if you follow the reporting time and reach at least one hour before the exam starts.

4. To-do List

Create a to-do list for the 'D-Day' and cross check everything required for the exam. Pen, calculator, admit card, photo identity proof, etc., are some of the things that must have a place in your checklist.

5. Be Confident

No need to get nervous at the 11th hour. You have prepared well and have worked hard for it. Be calm and confident in your approach, read all the instructions carefully while appearing for the exam, attempt easy questions first to save time, and avoid guess work.

Nothing is impossible if you have the determination to excel. Where there is a will, there is a way. All the best!
